The Ryerson Centre for Immigration and Settlement (RCIS) aims to be a leader in the transdisciplinary exploration of international migration, integration, and diaspora and refugee studies. In addition to supporting research in these areas, the Centre’s mission includes mentoring students and consolidating Ryerson’s reputation as the pre-eminent site of knowledge development and exchange with governments, community organizations, and other academics. The overall goal of the RCIS is to advance policy-related research and scholarship in the areas of immigration and settlement studies, both nationally and internationally.
Ryerson University is allowed to receive charitable donations in support of RCIS. Charitable receipts are automatically generated and will be e-mailed to donors upon completion of the transaction.
Your donation is important for our success! Donations primarily benefit students, through research assistantships and stipends, as well as internships and fellowships that engage future leaders in meaningful research projects and activities that inform civic society, policy makers, and scholars about pertinent immigration and settlement issues, making our society a more welcoming place for newcomers. Your donation will also permit the continued publication of RCIS Working Papers and RCIS Research Briefs, which present original research on immigrant and settlement issues of public interest and are freely available to everyone.
